whew

Linda March 15th, 2008

I went to add to this site earlier this week and found out that my domain registration had expired (no notice or anything!!!).  So I tried to renew it only to have their website do strange things…I was in a panick because I have lots of projects coming out: an article in Teesha Moore’s next zine issue (number 11), a doll in the summer issue of ADQ (”God’s Own Fool or the Real Me”), an online class on Doll Street Dreamers in April plus I was asked by Mark Lipinski from Quilters Home mag to write some articles (for pay no less, YEAH!!!!).  After much frustration (on both Scott’s and mine’s part) I was finally able the next day to  renew it (for 5 years HA!!!!).  I am not impressed with Bravenet but had originaly registered with them so I felt I had no choice but to continue with them.  ARGH!!!!!!  I seldom cry but the idea that all my work-which represented years–was possibly lost had me in tears.  But it was a happy ending.  Speaking of happy endings, I read a quote that says, “Happy endings depend on where you stop the story.” (Orson Wells)  To me that means that if you keep the story (of your life going long enough) there will be a happy ending–so don’t stop.

So, it is good to see you back online and doing so many good things in the world of art!!! For your information, had you actually lost the domain name, we have an archive of it so all would not have been lost. It just would have been some work to get it back in shape for you.

Keep up the good work and keep creating.

    Peace,
    Rich Brimer
