84: what’s on my desk

Don’t want anybody to think I have just been sitting around doing nuthin’, so here is a sneak peek at what is currently sitting on my studio desk. I have taken 4 more plastic Halloween skulls and started sculpting on them; playing around with different lips and noses. I do not have a plan for them per se but Scott suggested that I put them on letter blocks and put them on the mantel. Sounded good to me but I had to one up the idea and will add odd bits to their heads. Will they have hair–don’t know yet.

This is Jeffery. Max is making him for a science class project. The kids have been learning about dinosaurs and the teacher told them they had to pick one, write up certain info (put it on a cereal box?!) and then make a model using any material they wanted. What I find most amusing is Max’s pick of names. Jeffery has yet to be painted. Don’t know if it shows up in the photo but he had lots of VERY sharp teeth! ARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
