136: Just call me Bruiser
Linda November 10th, 2009
Scott thought this title was very funny. My daughter woke me up around midnight telling me that she could not sleep–there was thunder and lightning (now I was asleep!) so I walked her up to her room. When I had her in bed I started feeling that feeling you get when you are about to pass out–the kinda tingly, cold hands, heart palpitations, lightheadedness. I was standing at the top of the stair landing holding on to the closet door frame and blacked out/fainted. Now at this point I don’t remember all that well, but enough to remember hitting something and scattering stuff on the floor plus a moan or two. Scared her and to be honest I toyed with the idea of just going back to sleep where I was LOL. As you can see it left quit the bruise on my side and I have been walking like a crab ever since—wrenched my shoulder, BIG bruise, sore muscles—argh!!!! Pills help, but not all that much.
This is the landing where I fell. God was watching over me because I fell backwards on to the stool (pictured) and slide down it–hence the long bruise scratch versus falling head long down a flight of stairs–brrrrr!!!
All this because I got up out of bed too quickly–lesson learned!
On another front–my shipping article appeared in the Jan. issue of Doll Crafter and Costuming—on the cover is lists “Precious Cargo:shipping dolls” big and bold…ahhhh, that is me. It appears on pages 14-17. Four full pages of my article..they did not edit it and also included all the pictures I sent. I am very pleased. And will welcome the check for it LOL. I think the article is very good and if you get a chance to read it let me know what you think of it okay?

Ouch Linda!! That looks really painful. I too am happy you didn’t fall down the stairs. Maybe your BP was low? Have you seen a md? Hope you heal soon! big hugs!!
