137: Socks
Linda November 17th, 2009
Well, I FINALLY did it…I finished the socks that I had been knitting for Scott. Now the story is…I have been knitting them for about 3 YEARS!!!! It is easy for me to get the first sock done but then when I have to do the second…argh…it just seems so….boring!!!!! Whew..it feels great to have them done and they will end up being a Christmas present…good thing my family does not depend on me for them huh!? Silly thing to post I suppose but I am so happy to have them done ;0)
My back is also improving…I am not taking the Vicadene anymore. The colors are all gone..it is just muscle sore now and I need to start stretching it–ouch! I will be adding a page to the side of this blog/website.
I am changing the direct of my doll making and I have decided to work on making my own BJDs. The added page on the side will be reflecting that WIP (work in progress). I suppose it seems a natural progression. Movement in a doll is important to me..in my opinion if it cannot move it is a sculpture and not a doll. I have been increasingly frustrated with joints and movements in my dolls. Awhile ago someone suggested to me that I move into ball-joints for my doll and I had resisted–opps, here I am LOL.

I can hardly wait to wear them on Christmas day!! I need to save them for very special days I think…they are special socks!! I love you!
