140: Up to the Usual

scarves o plenty

Just so you don’t think I have been just sittin’ around doin’ nuthin’ I thought I would post a few pics of my latest endeavours….I found this wonderful yarn at Ben Franklin’s called Pomp-a-doodle.  It is yarn that has little pom poms every few inch or so….it makes wonderfully soft scarves.  I started with one for Mimi, then the boys wanted one each, then I decided to make 2 for close friends…5 scarves later (and none for me LOL) here they are.

cordially yours

These are bottles of pie cherry cordial or cherry flip as it is sometimes called.  I also make blackberry cordial but this year was so hot and dry the berries were not good-like dry little hard pellets.  I think it looks lovely in the window and tastes oh so good too!  These will also go to selected friends.  I am almost done making cookies here (the traditional Xmas ones I do).  We are starting on wrapping the presents and then I have some shopping for Xmas dinner (salmon, caesar salad, rolls, and ?????).

You have been busy! What lovely gifts.
We had salmon for Christmas dinner too, it makes me think of summer. Hugs to you all!
