Journal collage (2003) It reminds me of Mark Rydens’ Blood series.
“I sing the Body Electric” Done for a ATC-artist trading card-swap on the Art Erratica yahoo site.
“Mother May I”, yes it is indeed a mother that is a marionette. Perhaps I feel that others are “pulling my strings”?!
“Queen of Art” this was just playing around.
I hosted an over sized ATC-artist trading card- swap (March 2007)The them was “rebirth”. Six other local Washington artists participated–it was a 5 for 5 swap. All the cards were wonderful and inspired. It was hard to pick out the 5 that I could keep, but I did and added one of mine so I could make a banner out of them. I added the collaged triangles (made out of water color paper with glitter letters spelling, rebirth). This is the result hanging above our fireplace mantel.
